Little Pricy, But Good Gloves
July 16, 2012
Picked these up about 2 months ago with one of the BSX jackets.
So far being used for mostly TIG, light metal working, and a little bit of MIG and they seem to be holding up pretty well. The leather is still solid, no loose threads falling off, or velcro coming apart.
The heat shielding is alright, but expect things to get toasty with prolonged Al TIG above 140A.
The gloves themselves are really comfortable with a surprisingly good fit just going by the chart.
Great dexterity. I don't think about fumbling torch pieces or small components when wearing these. Good feel for the filler as well on TIG.
Durable (For TIG/Light Metalworking and Light MIG)
Cons-Heat shielding can be a bit lacking at higher amps
(sort of expected on Al though)
