    Best TIG welding gloves
    September 27, 2015
I've tried every type and style of TIG welding glove on the market and finally i found a glove that not only lives up to what the manufacturer says the glove will do but it far exceeds it! Best TIG glove out there!

    Well designed TIG gloves.

These gloves seem really well thought out for higher current situations. Thick where you need em, not where you don't. They ship a little tight but should break in nicely after a few hours use. Always nice to deal with Cyberweld.

    Good gloves

These gloves work very well. They are a good compromise between dexterity and heat protection. I will order another pair when these ones go out.
ProsComfortable, decent dexterity and good heat protection.
ConsThe black and yellow dye soaks into sweaty hands making them look bruised when you take them off. Helped me to learn that my left pinky is about a quarter inch longer than my right.

    Surprisingly comfortable

These gloves felt excellent the moment I opened the package. I slid them on and the size was perfect. I like my gloves to be on the smaller side so there is no free space inside when I'm wearing them. They have padding in the right areas for when you are resting your hands on the corners of your table. Amazing idea and it works. Would absolutely recommend them to a friend.
Pros-Great fit -Padded in right places -Look great -Seem durable

    Employees Like Them
    April 18, 2014
I bought these gloves for our welding and fabrication employees. They had used thinner Tillman gloves in the past, but complained they did not provide enough insulation from high amperage (heat) TIG welding. With a slightly thicker material than the Tillman gloves, these gloves are effective in protecting hands from increased heat. They are rigid when you first start using them, but after a few uses the flexibility is sufficient for most purposes. I would recommend these gloves as our employees like them and have requested them ever since we purchased the first pair.
Pros-Thicker material offers better protection from heat. -Rest patch provides added comfort when resting the wrists on a hard surface. -Index and middle finger lining is thinner, improving tactility while handling TIG rod.
Cons-Thicker material reduces overall glove dexterity. For low amperage TIG welding, thinner gloves may be preferred.

Excellent Blend of Dexterity and Protection
    May 27, 2012
I have not tried many gloves, but these seem to provide the protection from heat during TIG welding as well as the dexterity to not interfere with my welding. Still might need a thermal finger protector for some applications, but seems like a good value for the money. We'll see how they hold up over time.
ProsAllow dexterity while welding. Good coverage at the wrists. First two finger leather lets me grip the filler rod. Fits well.
    ConsHoping for better heat protection.

    Good gloves
    April 6, 2012
If I had used them just for welding and also as work gloves, they would have lasted longer. And used them for GMAW as well. So didnt last too long. But my experience with them was quite well.
    ProsDrag patch, flexablity of fabric

    Decent Gloves
    March 14, 2012
These are decent gloves for what they cost. These are predominantly split cowhide which is durable but make holding a torch or filler rod a bit clumsy. The part of your fingers that contact the filler rod are goatskin so you have good feeling there. If you're doing high amperage TIG work with lots of reflective heat--AC--try these out, otherwise they're needlessly thick.
ProsRest patches are very comfortable. Goatskin where it matters.

    Good So Far
    March 12, 2012
I like the gloves. The rest pad is really useful and the gloves are comfortable. They fit my hands well and allow good feel of the work. The one question is durability. I don't use these everyday, but I have noticed they are slightly separating at the seams around forefinger. Don't know how long they will hold up.
    ProsGood Fit Comfortable
    ConsDurability in question
