Angel Fire Women's Hybrid Welding Jacket JH1515-NB

I always have issues with black stallion jackets being too big. This is no exception. I am 5'3, 130 lbs and normally on the small but more likely medium side of shirts and jackets. I got the small and think I could've gone XS. It's wide and loose. The length and how tight the neck and wrists button is absolutely perfect; the looseness around the waist on the tightest button is still pretty loose. Maybe it will be beneficial since I do use this for foundry work and need to wear either overalls or pants underneath. I still wish they made a womens size small all leather jacket but alas, it hasn't happened yet. The color is nice, the quality is great, I may be able to sew patches better now that I have a denim back.

I am very happy with this jacket. Fit runs a little large but I'm definitely not swimming in it and it doesn't restrict my movement at all. Sleeves could be slightly longer. I got a S but XS might have been closer to my shoulder width. (I'm 5'4" 130 and muscular but the shoulders are still wide).

I've worn it on colder nights with layers underneath and I wore it yesterday in the 90s. Any leather or cowhide on your arms will retain heat, but the cotton helps relieve quite a bit. It's a good balance of protection--cowhide where you need it most and cotton where it can breathe more. I love that the wrists are cotton and button up. It doesn't feel bulky in my gloves. The neck protection is also great.

I recommended this jacket to the other women in class and had them try it on. I get a lot of compliments from everyone that it looks great. I also LOVE that it's a beautiful blueish purple. (I hate pink).
