Running this off a trailblazer 302 for aluminum what torch should be used?
The recommended TIG torch would be a Weldcraft WP-18. Miller advises that the stud mounts on the Trailblazer 302 would require a Weldcraft TIG Torch Power Adapter 45v11 as well.

I have a Hobart Titan 7000. It has AC & DC but is dated. Will this HF machine be compatible with my Hobart to tig weld aluminum?
You should be able to use the Miller HF-251D-1 High Frequency Arc Starter &Stabilizer 042388 with your Titan 7000. However you will not be able to get the full capabilities of the High Frequency Arc Starter. You will be able to have High Frequency which you will control from the front panel of the arc starter but you will not have any remote amperage capability (No footpedal or finder tip control capability)

The Miller XMT 350 produces DC weld current only .. To weld tig weld aluminum you need AC weld current.. You will not be able to tig weld aluminum with the XMT -350 even if you use the Miller HF-251D-1 High Frequency Arc Starter & Stabilizer 042388

I want to purchase the Hf251d-1 to run off my engine drive welder, but it does not have a remote receptical on it, is there a way to remedy this? I'm looking to get set up for mobile aluminum, and want to be able to use the foot pedal to adjust weld amperage too.
Unless your engine drive welder has a 14 pin receptacle that the Miller HF-251D-1 High Frequency Arc Starter & Stabilizer 042388 can connect to you will not be able to use a footpedal .

I have a miller trailblazer 302 with ac will this high freq box allow me to weld aluminum ? What all do I need to hook it up? Thanks
The Miller HF-251D-1 High Frequency Arc Starter & Stabilizer 042388 will allow you to tig weld aluminum with your Trailblazer 302. You did not indicate if you are currently using the Trailblazer for tig welding so we are not certain what parts and pieces you may already have. In general, along with the HF-251d-1 you swill need cables to connect the unit to the Trailblazers weld output connections. You will need a ground clamp and cable., a tig torch, a flow regulator and hose, and to get the full functions out of the HF -251d-1 you will need a foot pedal or remote amperage control.

Can this be used with a Miller Dynasty 200SD?
The Miller Dynasty 200 SD has built in High Frequency and you would not need the Miller HF-251D-1 High Frequency Arc Starter & Stabilizer 042388. If for some reason your 200SD has lost its high freq capability you could install the HF-251D-1 to regain your high freq. Miller does not recommend doing this on a long term basis but in an emergency situation short term it will work.

I just bought a trailblazer 275 from yall and need to rig weld some alum can this box be connected to the blazer and weld alum. I guess I would have to hook my remote up to the blazer n not to this box right ?
Even with the purchase and installation of the Miller HF-251D-1 High Frequency Arc Starter & Stabilizer 042388 you will not be able to tig weld aluminum with a Trailblazer 275.. The 275 does not produce AC weld current which is needed for tig welding aluminum. If you are hooking up the HF-251d you will plug your remote in to the HF-251d and the remote then plugs into your receptacle on the trailblazer..

This is very interesting what else is needed to supply the tig process on all materials after you put the miller HF-251D-1 HF arc starter-stabilizer 042388 on the deisel powerd 325 trailblazer
In addition to the Miller HF-251D-1 High Frequency Arc Starter & Stabilizer 042388 you will need a tig torch and tig torch power adapter, a remote foot pedal or finger tip control, a flow regulator with hose and weld cables in order to to tig weld. Remember you will not be able to tig weld aluminum with the Trailblazer 325 diesel. This machine does not produce AC weld current .

Given that the XMT 304 CC/CV already has the ability to TIG. What would be the reason for purchasing this item?
With the XMT-304 you either scratch start or use the lift arc function to initiate the the tig welding arc.Using the Miller HF-251D-1 High Frequency Arc Starter & Stabilizer 042388 with the XMT would allow you to initiate the arc without touching the tungsten to the work. This helps to prevent tungsten contamination especially in critical tig welding applications.

The Miller HF-251D-1 High Frequency Arc Starter & Stabilizer 042388 comes complete there are no extra switches to purchase. Depending of the machine you plan to use the HF-251D-1 with you may want to purchase a remote footpedal such as the Miller RFCS-14 HD Foot Control 194744 or a remote finger tip control such as the Miller RCCS-14 Remote Fingertip Control 043688 in order to get the maximum capabilities from the unit..

do ineed a contactor to hookup to a bobcat 225g
You can install the Miller HF-251D-1 High Frequency Arc Starter & Stabilizer 042388 without a contactor however the Tig Torch will be "Hot" all of the time. The proper way to do this installation would be to use the Miller 041696 Secondary Contactor Kit in conjunction with the Miller HF-251D-1 High Frequency Arc Starter By doing this the Tig Torch will only be active "Hot" when welding

The Hobart G-204 is a DC weld output welding generator. You can install the Miller HF-251D-1 High Frequency Arc Starter & Stabilizer 042388 on this unit .How ever you would not get the full capabilities from the Arc Starter .Also the since the G-204 produces DC weld current only you cannot tig weld aluminum with it even with the Arc Starter which is the main reason the Arc Starter is used

Will this machine work with my Hobart stickmate? It's the AC / DC 235
The Miller HF-251D-1 High Frequency Arc Starter & Stabilizer 042388 can be installed on your Hobart Stickmate..You will also need the Miller 041969 secondary contactor kit..Quite frankly this is not the way to go for to do tig welding.. The cost of the HF-251 is $1036.00 and the cost of the Contactor Kit is $477.00 for a total of $1513.00..You can purchase a Miller Diversion 165 for $1561.50.. This is a complete dedicated tig welder which can do steel, stainless and aluminum and do it better than you Stickmate with the HF box

You can install the Miller HF-251D-1 High Frequency Arc Starter & Stabilizer 042388 on a Miller Big Blue 300 Pro.. You will have high frequency arc start but this will not turn the 300 pro into a Dynasty 350.. The 300 Pro does not have AC weld output so you will not be able to tig weld aluminum .. The 300 Pro weld output is only rated to a minimum of 20amps.. The Dynasty is rate down to 3 amps an because to this the Dynasty will be much better on thin material

The Miller HF-251D-1 cannot convert your MIG welder into a TIG welder. If you are just looking to weld aluminum with your MIG welder, a spoolgun is what you would be looking for, however you need to be sure your machine can accept or can be adapted to accept a spoolgun.
