Hobart Handler® 140 MIG Welder 500559
The Hobart Handler® 140 MIG welder has been upgraded with new features normally found in much more expensive welders. The Handler 140's wire drive motor is now made out of cast aluminum, not plastic, providing smooth, industrial grade wire feeding. Voltage control has been upgraded from 4 taps to 5, giving the operator greater voltage control for more precise welding arc control. The new heavy duty steel ground clamp is an upgrade over the lighter copper ground clamp found in previous Handler® 140 models.
The Hobart Handler® 140 operates off 115 volt standard household current for maximum versatility and comes ready to weld with or without shielding gas, no additional kit required. With an amperage output range of 25 - 140, it easily handles a broad selection of solid mild steel or stainless, flux cored and aluminum wires.

A Very Good Welder at a Very Good Price

I found Hobart Handler 140 Welders all over the web for this price, but they were all model 500500's, which is the old model. Cyber Weld is the only place on the web I found the 500559 ( this years model). I like Hobart Welders and also have the Hobart Champion Welder / Generator. In my humble opinion, Hobart gives you very good value for your money. Hobart is the only company that I have seen that gives you a graph of what voltages can be expected at what amperage. On my welder / generator they printed the generator voltage droop graph as the current went up, which allowed me to know exactly what to expect out of my generator. I feel like you are pretty safe buying Hobart.

The Hobart Handler 140 MIG Welder 500559 is the new upgraded version of the HANDLER 140.
