Direct Plug-in Spoolgun for the Hobart IronMan® 230 MIG welder only.

The Hobart DP-3545 Spoolgun is great for aluminum MIG welding with the IronMan® 230 to eliminate feeding problems associated with soft aluminum wire. The Hobart Spool Gun DP-3545-20 is lightweight, compact and well-balanced. This reliable, yet economical gun provides 20 ft (6.1 m) of cable for extended reach.

The Hobart DP-3545-20 Direct Plug-in Spool Gun is a quick and easy install on the IronMan® 230. Usable on 18 gauge (1.2 mm) up to 1/2 in (12.7 mm) aluminum with the Ironman 230.

    Gets it done with aluminum...no more headaches with only a stinger...
    Pros:
    Does everything it`s supposed to do
    Cons:
    can be a little hard to get wire started thru drive rollers when 1st installing spool

    all is well except we had to tape outside of the main lead up under wire cage which enters the handle . it did have what appeared to be a razor knife type slice in the lead exposing internal wiring and copper shield. all is working well I believe , we did get through our first job ok. thx
