      Decent magnet

      I’ve never owned a strong fabrication magnet like this, settling on cheap magnet squares with no ‘on/off’. If the material is thick and flat enough this tiny magnet is a beast but otherwise is pretty underwhelming. Even with a 400 lb rating it’ll let go with a strong enough pull which is slightly disappointing.

      Strong

      I have a number of magnets to hold my work in place. This magnet is no joke.

      Outstanding field strength, also good field strength on all sides. Goes straight to neutral when switched off. The magicians at magswitch know what they're doing. You get what you pay for.

      No other work magnets compare with this tool.

      Highly recommend.

      it clamp force as strong as expected.

      The shape of the magnet that I received is different from the image on the web site. They told me it is not updated by manufacturer in China. You can get exact the same magnet ( the one that I got ) from Amazon for less than 20 bucks. It is too big for my project so I put it aside for now. However there is nothing wrong with it just the different shape and price. It is very strong magnet force to clamp down anything. The company has a policy to return but I decided to keep it.

      Used to align table saw wings, this operation requires three hands. Magswitch 400 provided the third hand.
