    It's Just Ok
    February 10, 2014
After years of using Arc One welding lens' I thought I'd try a Miller auto Darkening lens. It darkens as advertised and is priced right but I was spoiled with the Arc One Lens. The Miller is a murky green color and does not have the clarity I enjoyed with the Arc One. I will keep this lens and use it as a back up but I will be going back to my former lens.

    Auto lens
    November 29, 2012
Best 2/4 auto lens I've found hardly flashes and only in tight places and I'm a pipe welder so I get in tricky situations ,id like to see miller make one with 3 or 4 sensors
    Pros:
Clarity, able to see with hood down
    Cons:
    Nothing

    for the novice

I am a pipe welder and often make awkward positions welds. This lens is not for this type of use, I continually get "flashed" as I am making welds with this lens. I think this is because both sensors have to be activated for it to work. If you weld in a fab shop or something this would probably be okay. But for me it has pretty much been a waste!!

    Finally tried the Auto Darkening
    March 14, 2012
Had to give the Auto Darkening thing a try. Pretty neat not having to flip the hood up to change rods and such. Time will tell as to how long it lasts, for now it is a pleasure to use. It's use with a magnifying is a snug fit, but they both do fit.
    Pros:
It fits my old helmets No batteries Set shade, No adjusting
    Cons:
    No Lifetime Guarantee
