Miller Dimension™ NT 450 WCC / SuitCase X-TREME 12VS WCC Q300 Package

Weld Cable Control (WCC)—Provides remote voltage control using a Voltage Sensing (VS) feeder. Simplifies system setup and improves productivity.

With a WCC-equipped VS feeder and power source you can change the output voltage at the feeder and save a trip to the power supply. No extra control cable to purchase, maintain, string or unstring—saving time and money. WCC also extends the remote control capability beyond the reach of a control cable system.

Dimension™ NT 450 WCC Features

DC multi-process capability provides versatility and outstanding arc performance in CV (MIG) and CC (Stick and TIG).

Internal digital voltage control (DVC) enables operator to preset weld voltage in the CV mode before striking an arc.

Process selector switch automatically sets contactor requirements, eliminating confusion caused by several switch combinations and making this machine very “operator-friendly.”

Lift-Arc™ allows TIG starting without the use of high-frequency. Starts the arc without contaminating the weld with tungsten.

Line voltage compensation keeps power constant even if power input varies by ±10%.

Thermal overload protection helps prevent machine damage if the duty cycle is exceeded or airflow is restricted.

Inductance/Dig Control with pre-settable digital display to optimize MIG/Stick performance.

Fan-On-Demand™ which operates only when needed. This feature reduces noise, energy use and the amount of contaminants pulled through machine.

115 VAC duplex receptacle provides 15 amps of auxiliary power.

Help codes help troubleshoot and service power source. Help codes are displayed on the volt/amp meters. Reduces the time needed to get the machine back into service.

Suitcase 8VS WCC Features

Improved contactor for high amperage, high duty cycle applications (330 A at 60%)

Polypropylene case with built-in slide rails and the ability to open the door to change wire with feeder in vertical position.

Potted and trayed printed circuit boards for the harshest environments adds exceptional reliability. Motor control board has full-trigger isolation so a shorted gun trigger will not affect feeder operation.

Digital meters with SunVision™ technology can display voltage and wire speed, and also amperage if desired. Meters can be seen clearly even in direct sunlight.

Excellent starts and superior arc performance for all types and sizes of wires using a CV power supply.

Double-filtered gas valve helps keep dirt from clogging and affecting gas flow.

Wide voltage range for small and large wires with no contactor chatter and reduction of arc outages.
