Miller Pipe Pro 304 Diesel Engine Driven Welder/Generator
The PipePro 304 is the world's first diesel engine driven welder that also operates independently of the engine, using 230 volt single- or three-phase electric power when the Dual Power option is installed. A quiet, compact, yet extremely powerful multiprocess diesel engine-driven unit designed especially for the cross-country pipeliner and mechanical contractor.
Features:
New! Dual Power option - operates on engine or electric input power
New! 25% increase in patented weld at idle
Downhill pipe arc provides excellent control on the bead and hot pass
Compact size fits sideways in a standard pickup
Dual digital weld ampmeter and voltmeter
Arc Control (DIG) allows are characteristics to be changed for specific applications and electrodes
Low noise operation
Cold weather starting aids
Toolless top and side engine access
Miller Exclusives:
Adaptive Hot Start™ for Stick - Automatically increases output amerage at the start of a weld should the start require it and prevents the electrode from sticking and creating an inclusion.
Lift-Arc™ - Simply touch the tungsten to the work piece...lift...and the arc is initiated instantly and automatically.
Weld at Idle - Welding available at idle speed. When more amperage is required, the machine automatically goes to high speed without a change in the arc. Idles with up to 5 kW of weld power (225A at 23V, 170 A at 30V).
Optional Dual Power - Can run off of engine or use the 230 V single- or three-phase electric input power to eliminate fuel cost, noise, engine wear and emissions.
