The New Miller Shopmate™ 300 DX is a Single-phase DC MIG/TIG/Stick multiprocess power source that provides versatility and outstanding arc performance in CV mode (MIG) and CC mode (Stick and TIG).

  • Process Selector Switch "operator- friendly" single process switch eliminates confusion caused by several switch combinations.

  • Lift-Arc TIG allows DC/TIG starting without the use of high-frequency. Starts the arc without contaminating the weld with tungsten.

  • Large, dual digital meters enable the operator to preset weld voltage before striking an arc.

  • Arc control adjusts inductance to optimize MIG arc performance.

  • Line voltage compensation keeps output power constant even if input power varies plus or minus 10%.

    Does this unit have an internal wire feed unit for MIG welding, or does it require the purchase of a separate wire feeder. If internal what is the spool capacity? Regards, Ethan

    Answer:
    The Shopmate 300 DX does not have an internal wire feeder, so you do need to purchase a separte feeder. You can buy the Shopmate 300 DX MIG package, which does come with a Miller S22A wire feeder.
