The Maxstar® 200 DX complete TIG welder package features Auto-Line technology, the most advanced inverter power management circuitry in the welding industry, allowing the end user to automatically connect to any input power, 120-460 volt, single- or three-phase.

Built-in gas solenoid and HF means there are no additional accessories required. With 1-200 amps of welding output the Maxstar® 200 Series provides the operator with superior low-end DC TIG or high-end DC Stick performance. Weighing in at 37 lb (16.8 kg), the Maxstar® 200 is built to function dependably under the most demanding conditions.

Complete water-cooled packages — One stock number provides all the necessary items required for a water-cooled Maxstar® 200 DX TIG welding system.

DX Model: When the job demands greater control the DX provides pulse on/off, pulse frequency, peak % time, background amps, initial amps, initial slope time, final slope time, and final amperage control.

Blue Lightning™ - High Frequency Arc Starter for non-contact arc initiation. More consistent arc starts compared to traditional HF arc starters. Greater reliability and no maintenace on solid state components. Preset parameters for tungsten sizes from .020 - 1/8 inch provide optimized starting for applications from thick to micro thin material. For unique applications, custom settings are programmable.

Lift-Arc™ start provides TIG arc starting without use of high frequency.

Portable in the shop or at the job site - at 37lb the unit is easily moved from location to location.

Tailored arc control (DIG) allows the arc characteristics to be changed for specific applications and electrodes. Smooth running 7018 or stiffer, more penetrating 6010.

Hot Start™ adaptive control provides positive arc starts without sticking.

Low OCV Stick is a simple design that reduces open-circuit voltage to 9-14 VDC when power source is not in use. This built-in circuit design eliminates the need for add-on voltage reducers.

Auto-Line™ provides state-of-the-art flexibility by automatically connecting to 120-460 VAC, single- or three- phase power without removing the covers to relink the power source. No longer is there a concern if you have the correct machine for the shop or the job site.

Fan-On-Demand™ operates only when needed reducing noise, power consumption, and the amount of airborne contaminants pulled through the machine.

Wind Tunnel Technology™ is an Internal air flow that protects electrical components and PC boards from dirt, dust, and debris, greatly improving reliability.

LVC™ Line Voltage Compensation Keeps output of the power source constant regardless of fluctuation in input power ± 10%.
