    awful
    May 5, 2014
The first post is correct. Too much going on with it. The gearlike adjustments on the side wont stay in place, i had to put screws in them. It flips up and down unevenly. Its just a pain to deal with unless you are doing some light shop welding. For heavy production welding in the field it could be made simpler. Standard one-joint adapters are much better

    head gear
    April 20, 2014
Hard hat head gear always sucks when coming off a soft hood job. This is still better than the standard halo. Even though it slips and gets twisted. And still kinda sucks. I personally haven't found a better alternative yet.
    Pros:
    Better than the standard halo.
    Cons:
Still sucks when it comes to stability especially in tight spots.

    not recommend for a Ironworker
    March 6, 2014
My boyfriend, ironworker local#207, says there is just too much going on with it. It is made to go on a hardhat with the bill facing the front of the worker. Would of been nice to just have a basic adapter that is to be worn with a hardhat flipped around

Took a minute to figure it out but ten times nicer than my old Jackson adapter
    Pros:
Covered spring attaches better seems really durable
    Cons:
    A little pricey

    Unbalanced
    August 7, 2013
When the hood is flipped up, it comes off the hard hat really high. This leaves the full weight above your head. If your hard hat isn't cinched down tight and you lean or bend one way or another, the wide lens auto darkening hoods (titanium) are too heavy and will pull your hard hat off. I can see where the adapter would work fine for a smaller lens/lighter hoods.
    Pros:
Hard hat brim can stay in a forward position. Stays attached to a hard hat very good.
    Cons:
Leaves hood too high on your head when flipped up. Unbalanced hood will pull your hard hat off if it is not cinched down.
