why did i wait so long

The helmet its self is really nice, works great. I'm a full time tig welder, an it hasn't let me down yet.
the only thing i can say i dont like about it, is the head gear, it doesnt seem like its gonna last long, but other then that everything was good.. It really worth the $218 i paid for it.. If your looking at this helmet, you should really get it, its way worth the money, your eyes are gonna be safe with this helmet.. thanks cyber weld, im sure ill be back for more stuff soon... thanks again.

The helmet itself is very comfortable, but the auto darken lens is what really impressed me. For the money I don't think you can beat it.

I got this helmet because the cheap Chinese ones would not go light enough to see what I was doing with very low currents, like 40 A with a 1/16" stick.
This one goes down to 8 instead of 9, and that makes the difference. And in a pinch, you can run in cut mode at 7.
Seriously, though, I think considerably more ambient light is needed for this sort of welding.
Pros:1. The functionality is much better than the cheap ones. 2. The batteries are replaceable.Cons:1. The helmet is seriously front heavy, and is enough to cause some neck strain. 2. The down stop is a bit flimsy given the weight on the front of the unit. |

very sleek super nice head band it is a little flemsy but suprisingly strong and comfortable
Pros:super fast switch over and grind buttonCons:that grind button will mess you up if you forget to push it again to switch back to weld mode but there is a blinking red light to let u know its in grind mode it just takes a little getting use to |

Nice helmut. Had some adjustment issues. Also noted that I got alot of light when the arc was not sizzling. Had spots in my eyes a few times.
Pros:nice easily adjustable head gear. Lots of adjustmentCons:seemed to have a bit of a problem going back to normal. I would have to take it off and mess with it to get it to undarken after arc had stopped. |

It's comfortable, adjustable and covers my head better than any other helmet I have had. I am a hobby welder so I can not speak professionally, but I want professional products I can afford. Here is another one from Miller. I am very happy with it for my use. Well worth the money for my low budget.
Pros:Cyberweld had the BEST price. It has the Miller name, so I feel, if they are willing to stake their reputation on it I am willing to try it. I like it!!!!!!I hope the headset lasts longer than my old helmets(not Miller) time will tell. I bought my welder from Cyberweld and this helmet, I bet I am back for the plasma cutter and tig welder.Cons:I wish I could afford two. |

This hood works great for me being a student, its very easy to see what and where your starting on. I don't have to keep flipping hood up to inspect welds,chip and grind surfaces.
Pros:Easy to adjust from weld mode and grind mode. Clock assures me that I will not be late to my job.Cons:I still havn't found anything to dislike yet... |
