what kind of warranty does this product, and i noticed that this material closely resemble leather,so how close to leather does this jacket protect you ?
Miller's sole warranty on welding clothing is that the product is free of defect at the time of purchase. Cyberweld does have a 7 day, no fault return policy. Carbon-X is actually a woven carbon fiber that expands when it comes in contact with heat. It is much light than leather but does not perform as well as leather where heavy weld spatter is present or when carbon arc gouging.

    Awesome jacket!
    December 25, 2015
I'm a heavy production welder for a trailer company welding all different kinds of mainly heavy duty trailers, logging trailers, aluminum glass hauling trailers, shipping container trailers, etc. this jacket holds up through it all. Not a single hole from sparks or spatter or anything. The fit is great. I love the barracuda style neck, it gives extra protection. I've owned all different kinds and styles of jackets from the cheap greens to other brands of top of the line jackets and this one beats them out. I have yet to see if it holds up as well as leathers but it's a lot lighter and a lot cooler than leathers. I even own the cape sleeve version of this jacket and those have held up for two years now without a single problem or hole, burn through anything.
ProsLightweight. Zip up. Barracuda neck, vents in the back. Comfortable. Great fit. Amazing protection.
ConsThe stitching on the Velcro patches for the flap over of the zip up is poor quality. They will come off if you don't fix them. In my case I just used a stapler and stapled all the small Velcro patches and it has worked perfectly ever since.

    awesome welding jacket
    April 30, 2015
I'm in welding school I had bought some leathers because we were welding overhead and a hickory shirt was just not doing it. I did some research and came across this jacket and it was exactly what i was looking for. The jacket has a cool style to it, it's light, and the vents on the back are awesome. I had read a specific review before purchasing this jacket which I could relate to. The person wrote that they were 5'4 which is then same as me and the size small ran big so i figured it would work for me. When I got my jacket I realized the size small is size SMALL so I returned it for a medium. maybe this person was used to wearing tight American Eagle clothes? Overall its a great jacket that is light and keeps you from burning and keeps you cool. highly recommend
    Proslight, and keeps you cool

Average jacket, good protection, poor durablity
    February 8, 2015
I weld and grind 4 hours a day, 6 days a week and do professional sheet metal fabrication work. Purchase the jacket to protect from spatter. It worked great. I would not hold up to heavy stick just too light no insulation. The jacket for me has lasted nine months. For the cost, i would not purchase the jacket again. The sleeve design just does not allow adjust-ability. It has one snap that is it. After month six, the protective material on the fabric start to show shines of wear. At month nine, holes have develop on sleeves and the jacket is beginning to tear. I would recommend it for mild use but not professional use.
Proswell ventilated, light physical weight, nice fit, good protection against tig and mig spatter in non-overhead applications
Conspoor durability, sleeves snaps which stopped working from sweat, sleeves design just didn't prevent spatter from entering sleeves,

    Not What I expected
    May 11, 2014
I received the merchandise and tried it on and it seems the jacket for a small size seems still big, It's so lose on the chest and shoulder area and tight at the waist. The shirt is too long at the back also, feels weird when worn, I don't recommend this product for person 5'4 in height, small size seems still big. Not sure if this is going to be accepted for an exchange by cyberweld as it's already past 10 days when I got it pick up from my shipping depot, but I hope they will do as I am a regular customer and I did bought a lot from them already.
    ProsI can't comment
ConsToo tight and long, feels uncomfortable, still big for a size small.

I am a pipeline welder, I'm on my second jacket ,first one lasted about a year ,but the problem is in their stitching. After a couple months it started to split apart by the zipper.Awesome jacket for doing overhead welds. It does breathe much better than the Tillman leather coats. Jacket can get pretty hot in the noon day sun so buy a cheap umbrella ,cause your gonna need it.
    ProsWorks excellent
ConsPoor stitching in the zipper areas, Gets pretty hot in the noon day sun in the summer months

    Couldn't be better!
    January 12, 2014
I bought this jacket for my boyfriend that's in welding school. He absolutely loves it and said he got compliment after compliment on it but the best part was he didn't get too hot in it while welding. He said it was the best Christmas present ever. It arrived in a very timely fashion and we were both very pleased!
ProsKeeps welder cool, looks good (at least on my welding man), arrived in good timing for just ground mail services ( cheapest way to send it) and customer service was more than helpful with presenting me with a confirmation and tracking number. If he ever needs anything again we will be going back to cyberweld to order. Thanks!!

Not happy with build quality at all, 6 months of use and falling apart.
    February 10, 2013
I have been using this jacket for about 6 months and am not impressed with it at all. The stiching is falling apart around the zipper and about 4 other spots. Not burn proof like they say. I wasn't hard on it at all. I have a very cake job, there is no reason the thing should look like a tattered rag after 6 months. It has one row of stitching in places I think it should have three. For the money I think it was a rip off. I have had Carhartt shirts that would out last this thing by years.
ProsLite, looks more sylish then most,
    Conspoor build. price.

Jacket is great , but when I received it was to small we measured it by your size chart and the sizing was not correct. I wear a xxl size in my other jackets Accoring to your chart i would wear a large so thats what i ordered I shipped it back and had to pay for it to be shipped back to you and more for the larger size I would like a refund for the shipping. If not this will be my last purchase because it was the sizing chart that was wrong Its not my fault Donna Shimp
