  • Stick (SMAW)
  • DC TIG (GTAW) /Pulsed TIG* (GTAW-P)
  • Flux Cored (FCAW)
  • Air Carbon Arc (CAC-A) Cutting and Gouging

    * With optional controls only

    Applications
  • Heavy Industrial Applications
  • Construction
  • Shipbuilding
  • Railroad
  • Truck and Trailer Manufacturing
  • Fabrication
  • Repair Shops
  • Rental Fleets

    Features

  • Auto-Line™ Power Management technology allows for any input voltage hook-up (208-575V) with no manual linking, providing convenience in any job setting. Ideal solution for dirty or unreliable input power. Learn more about Auto-Line on the XMT 350
  • 350 amps of welding output at 60% duty cycle enables improved deposition through using larger diameter electrodes common in construction applications.
  • Tweco-style output connectors provided standard on the XMT-350 VS. Eliminates the need for cable adapters at the construction site.
  • Power factor of .95 enables smaller fuses/breakers and primary wiring. Primary amperage draw at rated output is 25% less than the competition.
  • Exceptional electrical efficiency. At 400 amps, efficiency is 87.24%, this helps to reduce the utility bill or fuel supply required to weld.
  • Inverter arc control technology provides greater puddle control for superior 6010 Stick electrode performance.
  • Auto Remote Sense enables unit to automatically use remote control if connected to remote control receptacle (CC/CV models only).
  • Reduced OCV operation - an internal dip switch enables reduced open-circuit voltage Stick welding capability. OCV is typically below 15 volts.
  • Process selector switch reduces the number of control setup combinations without reducing any features.
  • Large, dual digital meters are easy to view and presettable to ease setting weld output.
  • Pulsed MIG capabilities with optional Optima™ control reduces spatter and distortion, allows better out-of-position puddle control, and provides potential reduction of fume particle emission.
  • Lightweight, aerospace-grade aluminum case offers protection with the benefit of reduced weight.
  • Optional gas solenoid for TIG welding.
  • Wind Tunnel Technology™ Internal air flow that protects electrical components and PC boards from dirt, dust, debris... greatly improving reliability.
  • LVC™ Line Voltage Compensation Keeps output of the power source constant regardless of fluctuation in input power ± 10%.
  • Fan-On-Demand™ Internal power source cooling system that only works when needed, keeping internal components cleaner.
  • Adaptive Hot Start™ for Stick Automatically increases output amperage at the start of a weld should the start require it and prevents the electrode from sticking and creating an inclusion.
  • Lift-Arc™ Simply touch the tungsten to the work piece…lift…and the arc is initiated instantly and automatically without the use of high frequency.
  • Optional 115 VAC auxiliary power provides 10 amps of circuit-breaker-protected power for water circulators, etc.(CC/CV models only)
  • Optional gas solenoid for TIG welding.

What needs to be done if one wants to hook the machine up for single phase power. It makes reference to this on the rear machine cover but I could not find anything in the manual .
The Miller XMT 350 CC/CV Multiprocess Welder 907161 comes with a 4 conductor power cord. If you want to connect this machine to single phase power .You use only 3 of the 4 conductor wires. Use the black, white, and green.

Dose this machine have square wave for TIG? And for MIG do you have to use a spool gun or can I use a miller wire feeder and a large roll of wire like a standard MIG welder?
The Miller XMT 350 CC/CV Multiprocess Welder 907161 is a DC welding power source. The term square wave only comes into play when talking about welding machines and power sources that have AC welding power capability so the term square wave does not apply to the XMT 350. Miller 20 and 70 series feeders plus the 12RC, 8RC,12VS,and 8VS series feeders can all be used with an XMT 350 CC/CV .

Can this machine be used for Aluminium Welding (GMAW-P) with out any special Controls? If no, what are all the Controls required? and can they be attached separatly to this machine?
The Miller XMT 350 CC/CV Multiprocess Welder 907161 will accept a Miller 30A or 15A spoolgun..However you must use a WC24 control box. The Spoolgun will connect directly to your flow regulator on the cylinder.. It does not connect to the gas port on the front of the XMT

hello ,, on your plasma cutter , how dose that work .. dose it use shop air it said carbin arc what is that mean .
The Miller XMT 350 CC/CV Multiprocess Welder 907161 is not a plasma cutter.. It can be used to cut and gouge steel if used in conjunction with an Arc Air torch.. The Arc air torch would require an air supply such as from a compressor

    Delivery and damage
    September 16, 2016
The welder is great and is exactly what we wanted. Delivery via Con-way freight was very frustrating, welder didn't arrive on 2 occasions as indicated by tracking. Finally a manager in a pickup truck made the delivery. Welder housing was dented and CyberWeld issued a $150 credit to ease my temper. I will definitely order from CyberWeld again, hopefully future orders will be a bit smoother.

    Best welder out for Tig/stick
    January 22, 2016
I am a union welder and make X-Ray welds 6 days a week.. Anything from 1"socket welds,2" super coupons, to 8"and so on. I have used a lot of different welders and lucked out to have been using this one for a while now and it is my favorite ever. With the digital gauge you can get it finely tuned and when your welding on important stuff there's no room for error. When you weld on the daily you can tell the difference between running a root at 68 or at 69. This machine also has a dig control and you can set it where you like that, unlike most that just have soft or stiff... It also works really good on tig but most of my work is 6010/7018 or tig root with 7018 fill.
ProsDigital gauge Consistency Dig dial Quiet Smooth
ConsNothing. I could ask for a separate spit for tig torch so you don't have to disconnect your leads to switch processes but the machine is too good to complain.

    Miller XMT 350 CC/CV
    September 11, 2012
At first I was very pleased and impressed with the unit, until it quit working after a half an hour of light use. When it quit working it displayed a HELP #1 code . The HELP #1 code means that there is something wrong with the primary power circuitry in the unit itself, which has to be repaired by a Miller service agency . Where I work we have several of these exact same welders and every single one of them have had the same problem.
Pros-It's a good power unit when it works. -Versitile -Easy to change settings.
ConsBroke down after a half an hour of light use.
