The Phoenix DryRod® II 10 lb. capacity portable rod oven helps maintain moisture-free welding electrodes in the shop or on the job site. This Type 1 rod oven holds 10 lb (5 kg) of electrodes and maintains an average temperature of 300°F (150°C).

    Do you have information prior to using rod oven. such as does it need to be plugged in for any length of time be for use to eliminate moisture in rod oven.
    For optimum stabilization of electrodes the Phoenix Rod Oven - 10 lb. DryRod II 1205500 should be hot when loaded and kept powered as long as the electrodes are being stored.

    The manufacturer of the Phoenix Rod Oven - 10 lb. DryRod II 1205500 ,Phoenix International Inc,advises that an MSDS sheet for this product is not available and is not required for it

    The advantage of this rod oven over Lincoln and other ovens is that it is dual voltage. You can plug it into 110 or 220 volt sources without worrying about damaging the oven or having to remember to throw a switch. It holds heat will and will keep rods dry and warm for several hours.
