I'm Christmas shopping for my husband. i think he is asking for something that does not exist. I'm looking for a TIG welder that can weld aluminum and stainless, with finger control (not foot), that is powered by 110 (not 220). This looks like a nice machine - but is 220. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you
By Customer Service on December 18, 2012
Answer:The Thermal Arc 186 AC/DC TIG Welder System w/Fingertip Conrol W1006301 will do what your husband is looking for but it is a 220 volt machine. The Miller Diversion 180 TIG Welder 907460 will Tig weld aluminum and stainless and is a dual voltage machine that will run on 110v or 220 volt..It has a maximum material thickness of 3/16" however when the machine is running on 110volts the maximum thickness will be reduced.

Do you ship to Canada (Ontario), and what would the charges be? Could I pick up one of these units near to a border say, Niagra falls or Detroit?
Do you know of a Canadian distributer that may offer the similar great deal that you do?
