The Thermal Arc® Fabricator® 252i is a MIG welder, Stick welder and TIG welder in one. With 250 amps of MIG and TIG welding output and 230 amps of Stick welding output, the 252i is a truly portable, truly industrial multi-process welder.

    it does everything it is designed to do with ease . It very user friendly the set up was easy the change over from mig ,stick and tig is just push of a button and turn of a knob . The regulator was the edge series so that says it all very durable . The power supplies has plenty of power and with i pfc it is very energy efficient .
    Pros:
    2 separate mig and tig gas hook ups on the machine so it allows you to use 2 cylinders hooked up on the unit .
    Cons:
    should of gotten a second regulator to leave both c25 and straight argon cylinders hooked up .

    I have used a lot of welders, working in high end fabrication but for a very cost effective versitale welder these are hands down the best for your buck.... especially if your welding stainless and steel.. you still can weld alum with a spool gun

    I bought the thermal arc 252 recently and even used it in a shop. Hot start best invention ever. But my question is what size braker do I need to run it in my hous?. Im scared to plug it in without knowing.

    TheThermal Arc Fabricator 252i MIG/Stick/TIG Welder W1004401 requires 6.56 KW to operate.. Your Trailblazer can provide 12 KW .. That is certainly enough power to run the 252.. The problem is the power comming out of the trailblazer may not be clean enough to run the 252.. The power that is produced by engine driven generators is not as stable as the power that comes from the power company..We do not know how the 252 will react to the generator power and Thermal and Miller do not have any experience running each others equipment in this manner
