The Thermal Arc® Fabricator® 252i with single cylinder cart is a MIG welder, Stick welder and TIG welder in one. With 250 amps of MIG and TIG welding output and 230 amps of Stick welding output, the 252i is a truly portable, truly industrial multi-process welder.

    this has been a great machine so far mig welds awesome and arc welds great however on the tig side of things it doesnt exactly say when your buying it but it is a DC only tig machine which means it will not tig weld aluminum which is a good portion of why i bought it but it does seem to be a great machine otherwise

    Looking for a good multiprocess welder what is difference between thermal arc and miller

    Miller does not offer a multiprocess welder in the same size and price range as the Thermal Arc Fabricator 252i MIG/Stick/TIG Welder w/Cart W1004402..A better comparsion would be the Thermal Arc Fabricator 211 and the Miller Multimatic 200..Both models a multiprocess and come equipped to weld stic and mig right out of the box..Both offer options for tig torches , footpedals and spoolguns.. Both are portable the Thermal weighs 58 lbs the Miller 29 lbs.. The Fabricator has a slightly higher max welding amperage output .. 211 amps for theThermal and 200 for the Miller..Both models have a 3 year warranty .. The Thermal is made in China. The Milleris made in the USA
