Answer:
The Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 152 Plasma Cutter 1-1730-1 is designed to run on 208/230-460 volt power single or three phase..it is set up to run 208/230 single phase right out tof the box..It will run 220volt single phase in this configuration. There is a hi /lo switch on the back of the machine if you need to run it on 460 volt..If you need to run on 3phase power you will need to go remove the machine cover and go inside the machine to make a change. This change over procedure is covered in the owners manual..If you do not have the manual that came with the machine you can contact thermal dynamics directly and they can provide you with oneBy Jon Olse from Giddings, Tx on December 6, 2012

Answer:
You can cut 12 gauge with the Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 152 Plasma Cutter 1-1730-1 . You would need to change to a 20 amp tip (9-8205) then lower the amperage dial setting down to 20 ampsBy BINNIE from MUSCATINE IOWA on November 6, 2012
