For some time I refused to buy this item because it is nothing fancy and you can make something substantially similar for a good bit less. That said, this is a good product, it's a simple design that works. It won't do your taxes but it is a good standoff and radius guide.

Needed to cut out a 3 foot circle out of 3/16" steel and this inexpensive tool saved me big $ over having a fab shop do it.
It is simple to use and can be refigured to work in many ways. I had to cut my 3 foot circle out of a 3 foot piece of steel, which sounds right, but I had no edge or frame to run the outside roller on. This tool allowed me to spin the holder so the roller was in line with my cutting line and make a great cut. Very flexible and adaptable tool.
I can use both rollers to make fantastic straight cuts as well. It holds the torch off the steel perfectly!
I am thinking of a way to use a bearing in the torch holder so I can stand on one side of the bench while cutting, rather than scooting around the work piece, as the holder makes a rigid grab on the cutting torch.
