Tillman Welding Blanket - Light Duty Fiberglass 584

18 oz. White Fiberglass, No Coating. Light duty welding blanket, 1000ºF melt temp., sparks, vertical plane protection only, .03" thick. Sizes 6'x6', 6'x8', 10'x10'

Neoprene and silicone coated blankets are not recommended for stress relief and close proximity or direct contact with temperatures of 200ºF or more may result in smoking and/or burning.

How is this blanket installed to be hung vertically? Does it have grommets or can it be mechanical fastened to something?
Tillman indicates that the Tillman Welding Blanket - Light Duty Fiberglass 584 has grommets on all 4 sides

Would it be possible to cut blanket into smaller pieces?
The manufacturer advises that it will be difficult to cut the fiberglas material in the Tillman Welding Blanket - Light Duty 584.. Also the material will fray once it has been cut

It is a heat resistant, thick, fiberglass cloth with grommets. I am using it primarily as arc flash blocker to the neighbors at the moment.
ProsBuilt in grommets
Conswill initially shed fibers and get on clothes.

Got this welding blanket to cover my smoker to keep the temps ups during smoking here in WI during the winter months.. Works great... I have a welder as well and might use it with that to if need be... very nice solid material..
