require an air regulator for air diving inlet pressure is usually 3000psi so would like something that would be ok with say 4000osi inlet and a constant outlet of around 200psi. I used them for years air diving in the in the middle east around 1990 to 2005 we called them high flow regulators at the time we require 6 possibly 8 at the moment

Answer:The Victor Compressed Air Regulator - SR 450D - Heavy Duty is not recommended for use with inlet pressures above 3000psi and this regulator has a maximum delivery pressure of 125 psi

Is it necessary to have a PRV valve on the low pressure side?

Answer:The pressure relief valve (PVR) shown in the photo of the Victor Compressed Air Regulator - SR 450D - Heavy Duty show the PVR mounted on the same side of the regulator as the low side connection . Although it is mounted in this position it is main PVR for the entire regulator not just for the low side. it will not provide protection for the low side only
