Genuine Victor® J-40 Torch Handle weighs less than 6 ounces and features solid brass construction. The J-40 is a light duty torch handle that accepts Victor "J" series welding and brazing nozzles and has a direct connection to the Victor CA-1260 cutting attachment for oxy/fuel cutting operations. It is ideal for HVAC, hobby and jewelry work in tight spaces.

      Great torch at a great price (on sale)

      This J-40 was on sale for about 25% off everyone else's price. Although it may be a great torch for welding smaller sized metals, I heard about it from a master glassblower. I'd seen it used by other pro glassblower/flameworkers, especially in the scientific arena - chemistry applications, mostly using borosilicate glass. Excellent flame control, and coupled with lightweight hoses, a lightweight torch setup allowing me hours of glassblowing without fatigue. Cyberweld got it here real fast, too - thanks!

      J-40 Torch Body

      Cyberwelds pricing was 10 to 20 percent lower than anyone else on the web. I am silver brazing an electroformed pure nickel manifold on a jet fighter/trainer and due to the close proximity of all of the details a lot of dexterity is needed to play the flame/heat where needed. The small size of the VICTOR J-40 lets slight wrist movements accomplish this.

      Same old Victor quality and workmanship I've become used to after using their beautiful products for over fifty years.
