Will this hose work with the Miller Diversion 165? My Tig was purchased from you all a few years ago, but the hose and torch that came with the Diversion is hard to use. I am looking to replace the hose and torch to something more use freindly. I am looking for a plug and play solution.

Answer:About the only thing you can do to replace the tig torch on your Diversion 165 would be to replace it with the torch used on the Hobart 165i tig welder.. The Hobart 165i and the Miller Diversion 165 are basically the same machine..The difference being the torch..The Hobart 245271 torch is a Weldcraft WP 17 and does not have the finger tip control feature.. To replace your old torch with the Hobart torch you would need to remove the machine cover and remove the torch and unplug the control wires from the PC board.. The Hobart torch would connect the same as your old Miller torch however there would not be any control wires to plug into the PC board.. If you decide to go this route you will need to purchase the Miller 300432 footpedal in order for the unit to work and to control your welding amperage
