The Jackson 386 Capmount Adapter 15973 cannot be used with the Jackson Balder BH3 Auto Darkening Welding Helmet 37191. The only hard hat adapter that work this the BH3 is the Jackson Mounting Blade Kit 187-S 15968

I have the advantage 420 half mask respirator with the flexible filters. Will this apparatus fit under the hood? Or is there another respirator that will fit?

We have discussed this with Jackson and they have not tested the Advantage 420 respirator under the Jackson Balder BH3 Auto Darkening Welding Helmet 37191. They cannot say for sure whether or not this application will work..Headgear on the BH3 can be adjusted so that the Miller LPR-100 respirator will fit under the hood.. The 3M 6200 respirator will also fit but only with the 3M 2097 filters and this would be tight fit
