Will this interface with a very early Dynasty 200DX?   Serial LCA49716.  I understand it will work running continuously, but am wondering if interfaces like the later Dynasty models specifically mentioned.

Will this work with a syncrowave 180SD or do I need to go with the coolmate 3? ItÔ€™s unclear if the unit will run continuously and has a standard 110 plug.
    1 Answer
No..The Miller Coolmate 1.3 Coolant System 300972 is specifically designed for use with the Miller Maxstar® 210, Maxstar® 280, Dynasty® 210 and Dynasty® 280 TIG welders. A good choice for a water cooler for the Syncrowave 180SD would be the Miller Coolmate 1 Coolant System 300360.

Will this work on my older Syncrowave 250 ? My welder is a late 1994 model.
    1 Answer
Miller advise that at the current time theMiller Coolmate 1.3 Coolant System 300972 comes with a power cord that is specif to the Miller Dynasty and Maxstar 280 models and it will not work on a Syncrowave 250.. You should consider the Coolmate 3 for use with your syncrowave

I've been looking at a cooler for a while, this is the one I wanted. Couldn't beat the price or the shipping time. I ordered it on Thursday and had it Friday.

I had a Coolmate 1 and decided to upgrade to the Coolmate 1.3. It works really well with my new Dynasty 210. One of it's features is that is does not come on until one starts welding. So far it has worked really well.
ProsDoes not run all the time. (Only while welding)

Using in conjunction with a 210DX CPS and it's everything I hoped for. I was a little concerned as I had seen some videos where people were complaining about how loud the Coolmate 1 was, and others as well. I couldn't find any of the 1.3 so I made one, it's not any louder than the Dynasty fan. After the first day or so I don't even notice it running, and thanks to the CPS it only runs when I'm welding.
Pros-Well made -Fits the Dynasty 210 perfectly and secures to it monolithically -Quiet -Effective -Very reasonably priced

Good upgrade from a Coolmate 1
    March 12, 2016
This is a good cooler, compact, reasonable cost and not excessively noisy. I have a Dynasty 200DX Tigrunner setup and I like it for two reasons, the Dynasty DX welder and the "all in one" design. At first I liked everything but the Coolmate 1 cooler has always been marginal and I've had a few problems with the pump here and there. I was welding a motorcycle frame mod for a friend one night recently and my torch started getting warm and I noticed my cooler was slightly less noisy than usual so I disconnected the return line from the torch to the cooler and there was no flow. I have been good to this cooler, clean the filter at least once a month, it never is very dirty, change the coolant annually and generally I treat my equipment like it's gold. Luckily I keep an air cooled torch and was able to get the job done. I shopped Cyberweld the next day because I was tired of that noisy, weak kneed cooler I had and the only reason I liked it is because the Tigrunner package is so compact, integrated and looks good on the cart. I knew I had always wanted more cooler, just few searches on Google convinced me I was in good company as to the general dislike of the Coolmate 1 and for $565 I didn't want another repeat so despite the bigger size of the Coolmate 1.3 which means it wouldn't come close to fitting in the Tigrunner cart I looked at the dimensions of the cooler and decided with modifications to the Tigrunner running gear I could make it fit. I made a longer, wider offset tray for the cooler, modified the shelf support bracket and bought longer cam-buckle straps to hold my Dynasty to the Coolmate 1.3 and it looks like factory made! The only difference is I have a cooler for the long run that seems to match the value of my welder. My torch stays cool no matter the amperage, there is a big difference. I might add that I don't think this cooler is as noisy as my original Coolmate ! and certainly not as loud as the Bernards we have at work.
ProsGood cooler for the under 300 amp machinery. Good upgrade from a smaller unit. price, free standard shipping.
ConsDoesn't fit in Dynasty 200DX Running gear without modification.

    as good as you'd expect
    December 17, 2015
The unit feels substantial, not lightweight. I have a Dynasty 280DX and the water cooled torch that CyberWeld recommends and even while welding aluminum AC at 200 amps the only thing that gets warm at all is the ceramic cup. The only drawback to it is the noise. You can hear its pump but that's not bad at all. Its cooling fan, Its not totally objectionable but it is louder than expected. Thankfully, within about 5 to 10 seconds after you've stopped welding the water cooler goes to sleep. Maybe when the warranty runs out I will look for a quieter fan to install.
    Prosgood quality
    Conslouder than expected

An excellent match to a Dynasty 280, compact, comes with brackets to mount the Dynasty on top.
ProsCapacity is large enough, without being overkill paired with a Dynasty 280. I worry about overpressure causing leaks with the bigger coolers. Like Goldilocks, this one is just right.
