Miller ® XMT® 450 CC/CV Multiprocess Welder With ArcReach™ 907481003
The Miller® XMT® 450 CC/CV ArcReach™ with Auxiliary Power is a portable 450 amp multi-process welder that communicates with the remote Miller® ArcReach™ wire feeder without the use of a remote control cable. The secret to this technology is built-in circuitry in both the XMT 450 CC/CV ArcReach welder and ArcReach wire feeder that passes remote control signals through the welding leads, eliminating the need for costly remote control cables. ArcReach remote control distance is limited only by the length of your welding cable leads. ArcReach allows your MIG or Flux-Cored welding operation to take place further away from the welding power source and reduces downtime and costs by giving the operator full remote voltage and amperage control capabilities at the site of the weld without using expensive remote control cables. The XMT 350 CC/CV ArcReach MUST be paired with a Miller ArcReach feeder to get the full benefits of this feature
The XMT® 450 CC/CV is a 450 amp multiprocess welder capable of MIG, Stick and DC TIG welding. With a maximum of output of 600 amps, the XMT® 450 CC/CV is heavy duty industrial, inverter welder that is excellent for carbon arc gouging and Flux-Cored Arc Welding.
Comes complete with installed 115 volt, 10 amp receptacle mounted on rear of the welder for operating water circulators and accessories.

Remote control of the power
source without a cord -
ArcReach™ technology uses the existing
weld cable to communicate welding
control information between the
feeder and power source. This technology
eliminates the need for control cords, and
their associated problems and costs.
Installed 115 volt receptacle provides 10 amps of power for operating water coolers and accessories.
Wind Tunnel Technology™ -
Internal air flow that protects electrical components and PC boards from dirt, dust, debris... greatly improving reliability.
Fan-On-Demand™ - operates only when needed reducing noise, power consumption, and the amount of airborne contaminants pulled through the machine.
Lift-Arc™ - start provides TIG arc starting without the use of high frequency.
Adaptive Hot Start™ for Stick -
Automatically increases output amperage at the start of a weld should the start require it and prevents the electrode from sticking and creating an inclusion.
Lightweight, aerospace-grade aluminum case offers protection with the benefit of reduced weight.
Inverter arc control technology provides greater puddle control for superior 6010 Stick electrode performance.
LVC™ Line Voltage Compensation keeps welding output constant even if input power varies by +/-10%. Line voltage compensation further expands to +37% and -59% when operating on 460 VAC.
Process selector switch reduces the number of control setup combinations without reducing any features.
Large, dual digital meters are easy to view and presettable to ease setting weld output.
Compatible with the Wireless Remote Hand Control. Improve productivity, eliminate clutter and cord tangles in the work area. Eliminate cord failure and associated downtime/repair costs and extend the operator's welding range without adding cord extensions.
Auto Remote Sense enables unit to automatically use remote control if connected to remote control receptacle (CC/CV models only).
Low OCV Stick - A built-in, selectable feature, that reduces the Stick mode open-circuit voltage (OCV) to nearly 15 volts when the welding power source is not in use. Eliminates the need for add-on voltage reducers.
Ultra-tough, polycarbonate-blended cover for control panel protects front controls from damage.
Insight Core Optional Welding Intelligence™ system compatible - XMT CC/CV models are Insight
capable to monitor weld voltage, amperage,
and arc-time and percentage while MIG or Flux-cored arc welding.
Optional gas solenoid for TIG welding.
