We have several of these unit in our fab shop and have started to notice the rubber hoses with the nylon braided cover and with the zippered (nylon) jackets are starting to arc to the welding tables through the jackets, what will cause this to happen

We have discussed the condition you are experiencing with Miller Electric regarding your Miller Syncrowave 250 DX TIGRunners. They question whether the arcing you are seeing is is welding arc or High Frequency (HF) arc.. If it is welding arc your weld will appear to be affected.. If it is HF your arc start may be affected but your weld should be ok.. HF looks for any way it can to get to ground so if your hoses are a little worn or weak the HF will bleed through them.. The only repair is to replaced the power cable.

    Great Price great service
This welder was initially on backorder when I ordered it. Cyberweld was very good about telling me about estimated delivery and than ensuring that it was not damaged in shipping. It was delivered undamaged on the schedule they gave me. I have not used the welder yet, but so far, I give Cyberweld an A .
    ProsHonest with good communication.
