Optrel® Neo p550 Welding Helmet 1007.000

The Optrel® Neo p550 auto-darkening welding hood features TrueColor lens technology and continuously adjustable 9-13 welding shades. TrueColor shade 4 light state and TrueColor welding shades 9-13 allow for real color perception of work area in light or dark states.

Weighing only 17.4 ounces, the Neo p550 is one of the lightest auto-darkening welding helmets available. It has three arc sensors and is ideal for TIG, MIG, Stick and flux-cored welding. The welding lens features external controls for infinite shade 9-13 adjustment, delay and infinite sensitivity adjustment. It comes complete with CR2032 batteries and Oprel's 2 year lens warranty.

  • TRUE COLOR VIEW - The specially developed UV/IR filter allows a realistic perception of colors, at long last bringing color into the world of the welder. TRUECOLOR passes more colors of the spectrum through compared to standard "green" spectrum welding lenses.



  • SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT - allows operator to infinitely change lens switching sensitivity for varying ambient light conditions or outdoor welding in sunlight.
  • DELAY FUNCTION - After shutdown of the welding arc, the ADF momentarily stays closed to protect eyes from the strong afterglow of the welding seam.
  • LIGHTWEIGHT - Weighing only 17.4 ounces, the optrel neo p550 is one of the lightest auto darkening welding helmets available. Its ergonomic design minimizes strain on the head and neck, ensuring comfort throughout the work day.
  • NEW ENERGY CONCEPT - With its radically more energy efficient electronic system including a "Super-Sleep-Mode" the neo p550 stays ready to use for approximately 3,000 hours without changing batteries.

      Great helmet

      Light weight durable the replacement headgear a must, but they have the best headgear on the market it’s like 50 bucks for the replacement headgear but optrel top-of-the-line headgear is great

      Two weeks of solid performance

      This helmet has helped me with clarity during the weld process, light weight reducing neck strain from which I was suffering greatly with my former helmet and that satisfying feel of a purchase being worth every cent and more. Not only is it good for the price but its an outstanding piece of gear.

      I will be saving up for the Panoramaxxx model next.
