The HyPilot cartridge can also be used for stand-off hand cutting where moderate to extreme pilot arc time is necessary.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe SmartSYNC HyPilot NickelPlus cartridge is optimized to machine cut metals between 3\/8\" and 3\/4\" thick. It is designed to be used with Hypertherm Powermax plasma cutters equipped with a SmartSYNC plasma torch. SmartSYNC cartridges can also be adapted to fit older Duramax® torches by using a #428951 cartridge adapter (sold separtately).
