Great Piece of Equipment for Soldering
    August 23, 2017
Seems to be excellent quality equipment. It comes with the smallest tip which I don't think will suit my soldering and annealing needs so I have ordered the larger ones. Just starting to use the torch and is so much more convenient than my big ole bulky map gas!

Exactly what I have needed!!! WOW!
    October 29, 2016
I have been using a small Butane torch for over a year, trying to create jewelry bezels and filigree designs, only to burn through the metals more times than I care to discuss. I wasted a lot of silver using this method! The Air/Acetylene torch outfit I purchased form Cyberweld has changed my life! The heat is much easier to control and the flame can be pinpointed much more effectively to build the intricate designs I love to create. I was initially concerned that the gasses would generate a lot of soot in my studio, but I have not seen that at all. It burns very clean! Setup was super easy and torch tips are quick to change out. I love this kit!!!
ProsEasy set up, easy tip changeout, and excellent heat/flame control.
ConsComes with only one torch tip, which is the most common used for jewelry making, so not such a bad thing. Had to search around the site for additional sizes. Would like to see an "add-on" kit with a small variety of additional tips available. Other than that, there are absolutely no cons! I love this torch!!!

Having the right tools mean everything. I am a hobbyist that makes jewelry. Learning to solder has been the most frustrating experience. This torch is easy to use, well made and came packaged so well. Everything the company said and promised was upheld. I am very happy with my purchase.

    Great torch, excellent price!
    December 26, 2015
This is the best set up for jewelers, silversmiths, museum mount makers and other small metal work. Bulletproof, easy to use and gives reliable, consistent heat. The #00 tip is great for detail work and isolating your heat in a small area of the piece. Your local welding supply can set you up with the 'B' tank and refills. Cyberweld filled and shipped my order very promptly and offer the best prices on this torch and tips.
ProsHigh quality, ease of use, gets the job done! My productivity has increased since I started using this system.
ConsMaybe a big $$ commitment for some people, but if you use it a lot, its worth every penny and will prove to be a good move in the long run.

This torch solved all my soldering problems. I started by using a Smith Little Torch and it was too small and too hot. Lots of burned bezels or unable to get an even, overall heat of backplates. Now, with this single fuel torch and several tips (00 for tiny flame, 2 for large, bushy flame) I am a happy camper. Torch tips are easy to exchange and torch is well balanced and easy to hold. I just ordered the 1 tip for more precise bezel soldering. Highly recommend this product.
ProsWell balanced, easy to hold, inexpensive to run (single fuel). Nice assortment of tips for specific flame size.

    Solder Like A Pro
    February 8, 2014
The unit was easy to hook up to my acetylene tank. The 00 tip that comes with the kit produces a soft, consistent flame just as advertised. My previous setup was old and I didn't trust the hose and the gauge was broken. The tip head was large and only good for annealing metal. I have had a lot more success with this outfit. I'm pretty new to soldering and I feel like a pro now.
The kit was shipped the next day after ordering and arrived on a timely manner. I'm so glad I made this purchase.

    June 29, 2013
So far we are happy with the 239-193 outfit. I expected a little more flame but with the 00 tip I guess that's all you get. Still good enough for what we do. Melt silver wire. Anything heavy duty would require bigger tips. Also we are light duty and bought a 10 cu ft acetylene tank and this system comes with a B connection for 40 cu ft tanks and does not fit the 10 cu tank without buying an adapter. Appx. $18 bucks. No complaints, that's just the way it is and you learn as you go. Bottom line I like it, easy to use, well made in the USA, best price I could find.
ProsFast shipping, I was impressed with how quick they got it here.

    Nice torch.
    July 30, 2012
This is just what I needed for my jewelry design!! I haven't had a chance to really do anything very difficult yet, but I really like how easy it is to use. The tips are perfect size for the kind of rings and jewelry that I make. When I have a little more free time, I intend to make something much more challenging now that I have the heating power I have been missing (I was using small hand torches.... good enough for somethings, but not for high heat metals.)
ProsI like the small precise flame, and the ease of use.
