The Black Stallion® AH1630-GS is a Gray/Stone Khaki FR cotton stretch knit welding cap that is lightweight and offers a fold-away bill extension for additional coverage. Single-layered, flame-resistant cotton traps less heat, while providing protection from sparks and spatter. FR cotton bill extension provides extra neck coverage when you need it and folds away into the bill when you don't. Flame-resistant cotton material and thread maintains its FR properties for up to 50 home washings.

      Perfect, Love it

      Perfect fit, stays in place but isn't so tight its uncomfortable. I do not use the flap but it keeps hot crap from burning my bald head and neck. I will buy another to rotate out for cleaning.

      Good idea, poor execution.

      I got this because I liked the idea of the pull out flap in the bill. Problem is that it doesn't fit well (too big), and I got the size I needed according to the sizing chart. I got 2 of them and they both stretched out after just a few days of wear and became totally unusable. The bill of the actual cap is a great length on it's own.. but the flap you pull out is really long and ends up just getting in the way, so I ended up not using it. Good idea, but doesn't work.

      Loose fit

      I just wish this cap had some garter bands on it. At first use, the cap fits perfectly. As you continue to use it, the fit become loose. Have not tried washing it yet to see if it will shrink.
