Black Stallion® BSX® Hybrid Welding Jacket combines the protection of leather with lightweight FR cotton. The hybrid welding jacket is made of 9 ounce flame retardant cotton with grain pigskin leather sleeves, which extend up to the shoulder area. FR cotton underarm provides a balance of protection and comfort.

      Best jacket yet

      Been in welding 20 years now jacket is light weight and in my job welding is always outside in Pacific Northwest. Just add some oil to arms and sleeves will hold up in rain even better. Only jacket I buy.

      Ready To Go Out Of The Bag

      The leather is so nice and feels already broken in. You can put it on and go, no need to break it in. Fits great as well!

      Great jacket for a student

      I also have a tillman hybrid with cow hide. The leather on the cow hide is a little more protective. However this jacket is much more comfortable and lighter weight making it a little cooler. I also much prefer the collar on this as I was having issues with sparks getting down the collar of the Tillman, the collar on this one is much better. Over all this is just a much more comfortable jacket. I've only been using it for a couple months in class so durability is not yet determined but it seems well made.
