Miller® Legacy Welding Helmet Headgear 290460

Genuine Miller® Legacy welding helmet headgear offers comfort and design improvements over the Miller Gen 3.5 headgear. It is the direct OEM replacement headgear for Miller Digital Infinity™, Digital Elite™ and Digital Performance™ series welding helmets. It can be used with all past and current Miller welding helmets, WITH THE EXCEPTION of the Miller T-94™ series. The Legacy headgear features an enhanced comfort cushion, and ratchet-style size adjustment, as well as tilt, angle and depth adjustments. It can be used as a direct replacement for Miller part #770246, #256174, #271325 or #284218 headgear.

      Vast improvement over original, Miller still lags in headgear design

      Quick ship, generally happy with this purchase. This headgear is a vast improvement over the original headgear that came with the helmet. And, I saved a $300+ helmet, with around 10 hours total use for roughly $60 so it was the right purchase from an economics perspective. Having said this, Miller headgear is still poorly designed and my frustration with this poor design - for instance the helmet will not stay up unless I really crank down on the friction screws, will motivate me to look elsewhere for my next purchase. Miller makes the BEST welders in my opinion, but the helmets, especially the headgear, are average at best.

      I had an issue with a Miller helmet since the begging of owning it. This new headgear completely solved the issue of the face shield not staying up.

      Awesome!

      I love this headgear. I had gone through at least 3 of the previous style on EACH of my welding hoods. I'm very happy to see Miller finally came around to replacing it with something not dissimilar from the older (7-10yrs ago) style.
