The Black Stallion® BSX® JH1016-NB Hybrid Welding Jacket combines the protection of black cowhide leather with 9 ounce navy blue FR cotton. The unique design of the BSX jacket puts split cowhide where the garment is exposed to the most amount of heat and sparks. FR cotton chest, back and shoulders, with exclusive back vent, keeps you cooler than other hybrid welding jackets.

      Very nice

      This jacket fits very well, comfortable (able to move), the pockets are a plus, too. It appears to be construed well, with quality materials.

      Purchased for my son, who is a large (270lb) guy.

      Decent Jacket

      It’s well made and works decently as a welding jacket. That said, I’ve got a few minor comments. I’ll probably only wear it in cooler, not cold or hot, weather. The vent helps, but if it’s summer I’ll be wearing coated cotton. It is also heavier than I expected as it has leather at the front bottom that I don’t need. The leather arms are nice, but the two sleeve snap positions leave the sleeve openings too large to go under gloves or too small to get my hands through.

      Leather all in the right places. The back has a flap so air can circulate. Leather isn't to heavy or stiff.
