Genuine Hobart® Discovery™ auto-darkening replacement welding lens for your Discovery series welding hood. The variable shade lens is adjustable from shade 9-13 and is suitable for MIG, Flux-Cored and Stick welding. The Discovery Series lens features external controls for both weld and grind modes and internal sensitivity and delay controls. For Hobart Discovery series welding helmets ONLY.

      Old auto lens was broke

      The replacement lens worked great . I bought the discovery hood used , the lens would darken but had lighter spots on the sides. So I got this one and it works like it supposed to .

      Fits and works great!

      Very happy with this lens. Hobart said it won't fit my 770417 freedom eagle hood and it does perfectly. Possibly even better than the factory lens.

      half way works

      it was easy to replace but after my first use I noticed that the bottom quarter of the lens wouldn't darken so it made it annoying to try and weld and your eyes started hurting soon after.
