Miller® FILTAIR® ZoneFlow™ Fume Extraction Arm - 8 Inch Diameter
Genuine Miller® FILTAIR® ZoneFlow™ 8-Inch Diameter Fume Extraction Arm is available in 10 ft. or 12 ft. lengths, and provides up to 3X the coverage area of standard extraction arms. It comes preassembled and is designed to be mounted to a wall, pedestal, column or welding fume extractor. External controls and adjustments allow for greater air flow through the arm itself, with no internal components to restrict circulation. FILTAIR® ZoneFlow Extraction Arms are compatible with Miller FILTAIR SWX fume extractors, centralized shop systems or competitive equipment. The ZoneFlow fume extraction arm comes complete with #301507 ZoneFlow motor control box.
Features
ZoneFlow™ Extraction Arm and Motor Control Box
ZoneFlow extraction arm creates a negative pressure zone
that funnels air to the center of the arm from
greater distances. The arm features convenient
360-degree rotation for unlimited positioning,
which means fewer hood adjustments and
extended welding time.
Easy-to-operate ZoneFlow arm
Features external
adjustments, so air can pass through with
less airflow resistance, giving you stronger
cfm (airflow). It offers reliable and accurate
positioning across the full range of motion
of the arm, as well as easy adjustment and
maintenance to ensure long-lasting operation.
ZoneFlow Extraction arms are available in 10- or
12-foot lengths.
Multiple use options
Connect a FILTAIR ZoneFlow extraction arm to any FILTAIR SWX fume extractor, centralized
system or competitive equipment.
Designed to cover larger spaces
ZoneFlow extraction arms are available in 10-, and 12-foot versions. External brackets and adjustments allow air
to pass through with less resistance giving
you stronger cfm (airflow).
Durable bell-shaped hood
Is one of the largest in the industry. FILTAIR's extraction hood captures weld fumes at a greater distance from the source than other hood designs. This also means fewer hood adjustments for longer welds.
When to use 8-inch arms
An 8-inch arm is capable of delivering
approximately 45 percent more airflow than a 6-inch diameter arm,
and the hood can be placed further from
the welding area (up to 16 inches).
Additionally, the conical hood is larger
in diameter and capable of collecting
from a broader area.
Typically the 8-inch
arm is used in heavy manufacturing for
larger weldments.
