      Best Dexterity Period

I've been using these gloves ever since they were recommended to me by my TIG instructor 9 years ago. They have superior dexterity and just enough protection to save your fingers in case you're having a bad day and touch hot metal.

My ONLY complaint. You will wear holes into the fingertips in the first month or two depending on how hard you are on them. I've tried other brands made of more durable material but lose the dexterity that i like so I always end up coming back to these. For the price per pair i think the lack of durability is well worth it.

Extremely soft and great dexterity but not tough

Extremely soft and great dexterity but not tough enough for outside a shop environment. I work in refineries and these only lasted a week under light use. They ripped at the seams as the leather is extremely soft. I wish they were tougher because these would be my go to gloves everyday. :(

      Good fit

The leather is supple and reliable. A shop mate borrowed them and is going to get a pair.

      Great Gloves

Based on Corbin's review, I purchased these gloves. On a recent Aluminium radiator job, the gloves were comfortable, good tactile feel and gave better than I expected heat protection. I have always used Tillman 25A, but the Black Stallion gloves were far better. With the Tillman's, I feel more reflected heat on my finger tips on both the torch and filler rod hands, especially when the filler rod was down to 3 inches. I now prefer the longer cuff over the Tillman 25A 2 inch cuff. I know the Tillman 25B has a longer cuff, but I really like the Black Stallion gloves now. The aesthetics of the beige/brown color looks better than the my Tillman's White, now black streaked, gloves.
