Fibre-Metal® Roughneck™ White Hard Hat P2AQRW01A w/Quick-Lok™ & Ratchet Suspension

The Fibre-Metal® Roughneck™ P2AQRW white hard hat features ratchet headgear and Quick-Lok™ mounting system for attaching welding helmets and face shields. It is the industry standard in safety, strength and durability. The Fibre-Metal® Roughneck™ hard hat is made of tough, injection-molded fiberglass that is 8 times stronger than the most common polyethylene hard hat.

Fibre-Metal P2AQRW SuperEight® ratchet suspension 3RW2 is crack-proof and strip-proof and is SEI certified in both forward and reverse position. The unique eight-point headgear design increases comfort and is more effective at dispersing impact energy than typical four-point suspensions. The Quick-Lok™ feature allows to you quickly and easily attach Fibre-Metal® welding helmets and face shields equipped with 4001 Quick-Lok™ cups. Fibre-Metal P2A series hard hats withstand up to 370 degrees F radiant heat.

      To large for the fibre metal pipeline hood

      Hard is nice but stretches out the pipe fitter hood, recommend buying a different hood for this hard hat.

      Good product, fair price.

      Bought this for my son. He did not want the swing suspension and Cyberweld was one of the few places that carried the standard ratchet suspension.

      Exactly what I expected

      I recently purchased this hard hat for the purpose of combining it with a speedy loop 5000 and Fibre-Metal 906 welding helmet. It was a tight fit due to the nubs, but once assembled the setup works beautifully.

      DO NOT BUY THIS TO MOUNT YOUR FIBRE-METAL PIPELINER HOOD

      I purchased this hard hat to mount my Fibre-Metal Pipeliner hood on. I figured, of course such a reputable company produces their products to work with each other. Not so. There is no way to even alter your hood to make it fit. Hood is too narrow, mounting location is too wide. I even spread my hood open to get it on the mounting lugs, with first drop of the hood the it pops right off. The hard hat alone, excellent product. The fibre-metal Pipeliner, great hood. But these products, from the same manufacturer, spoken to work together, do not, at all. I will definitely do business with cyberweld again, but I may avoid Fibre-Metal.

      does not fit helmet

      I ordered the hat along with a spare 110p helmet. The helmet is to narrow to fit the hard hat.
