    Arc welding replacement filter lens unit

    It seems to work ok but is likely the highest cost unit available. It doesn’t have an automatic turn on when the visor is lowered as some other helmets do. Compared to my original darkening unit which lasted 20 years this replacement is more clear before arc is struck - a big plus for my aging eyes.

    Worth every penny!

    I've owned mine for 12 years, I'm a professional pipe welder with ten"s of thousands of welds this in my opinion is the best setup out there. I still yes the old HSL 100 hood so it's a bit heavier but that's the hood. My only complaint is switching from cut, torch, and grind mode button is getting worn out but again this is after thousands apon thousands of welds.

    Well worth the money!!!

    Awesome

    Traded my welding instructor a Hobart Pro lens for one of these. It runs flawlessly. The 3-in-1 mode is wicked convenient, as well as the auto shut off after 20 minutes. I'm very impressed and can't wait to see how long this lens will last me.

    Durable

    I have owned this Nexgen lens for 10 years and it still works flawless. Many hundreds, if not thousands of hrs. of actual weld time. I still have perfect vision, so I highly recommend this product.
