If a person does a lot of heavy duty wire feed welding... 1/16th Inch 250 I/s 300amp 25 volt stuff, these would work really really well. I really get sick of hot hands and having to switch off hands and shake the glove to cool it down, with these you wont have to do that. I think they would work pretty good for light and medium duty air arc stuff, up to 500amps DCEP.
Fit wise, my hands are an x-large, and these fit decently. The backhand pad doesnt really get in the way, and it does take a few mins to get used to them. I was building up some DTH hammer chucks and subs and my hands never got hot running 1/8th inch stoody 2110 at about 170amps. Normally my left glove gets a lil toasty doing that.
