    Miller RMS-6M On/Off Conrol from Cyberweld.com

    Hi -

I use the Miller STH-150 and when I purchased it years ago (from Cyberweld.com) it came with a remote On/Off that was a turn knob that allowed a variable setting. For years I just turned it all the way on and welded, and then turned it all the way off. I only use two amp settings for my work, using the dial on the machine, around 32ish Amps for 1/8, and 45 Amps for 1/4 - all on the Pulsed TIG setting, - so again, never really used the spinner on the remote as it was intended. But it came with the unit so I used it. And it wore out after many years of use. I had it attached to the wand via zip ties.

I ordered the RMS-6M On/Off Control from CyberWeld.com: http://store.cyberweld.com/mirmonco19.html - it also attaches right to the wand using zip ties, and it is way easier to use, and faster for me to weld with.

It really is perfect for my rolling ball sculpture welding needs. And I didn't want a foot pedal, as I don't sit much and it allows me to weld as i move around. The On/Off switch, combined with the Welding table from Miller really is making building easier and faster for me.
