The Miller® Multimatic™ 220 AC/DC with Dual Cylinder Welding Cart & Wireless Foot Control is a true multi-process welder that is capable of AC (aluminum) TIG welding. The Multimatic 220 AC/DC produces up to 230 amps of MIG welding output and up to 210 amps of TIG welding output. The complete portable MIG, Stick and AC/DC TIG welding package comes with Miller® MDX™-100 MIG welding gun, Weldcraft™ 150 amp TIG torch with accessories, remote foot control, two argon flow regulators with hoses, stick electrode holder and ground clamp.

The Multimatic™ 220 AC/DC comes standard with a color LCD screen and features Miller's Auto-Set™ Elite. Auto-Set™ Elite sets MIG, Stick and TIG welding parameters automatically, all you need to do is enter metal thickness and welding wire or tungsten electrode diameter. It also allows you to fine tune weld settings manually to suit your individual preferences. The 220 AC/DC runs on either 120 volt or 240 volt input power, using Miller's exclusive multi-voltage plug (MVP™) and weighs only 56 pounds.

Features
  • Multiprocess capabilities allow for MIG, flux-cored, AC/DC TIG and stick welding. The Multimatic 220 AC/DC comes equipped with all accessories to weld any process, unlike other machines where you need to purchase additional accessories.
  • QuickTech™ technology - automatically determines the polarity. Work is always connected to the bottom right receptacle. MIG gun and TIG torch can stay connected at the same time. It automatically switches to the right process. Just hit the trigger or the foot control and the machine automatically changes, eliminating the need to manually change processes. QuickTech™ automatically recalls the settings from the last process used.
  • Auto-Set™ Elite can be used on multiple materials and multiple processes with the ability to fine tune your settings. Easy to set up and use.
  • Pro-Set™ (TIG and stick manual modes) - eliminates the guesswork when setting weld parameters. Simply adjust control until Pro-Set appears on the display and the number turns blue.
    AC Balance (AC TIG) - controls the cleaning action (Pro-Set 75%)
    AC Frequency (AC TIG) - controls the width of the arc cone (Pro-Set 120 Hz)
    Pulse (DC TIG) - helps focus the arc for increased stability, penetration and travel speed (Pro-Set 100 Hz)
    DIG (Stick) - lets you tailor arc characteristics for a wide range of applications (Pro-Set 30% 7018 electrodes)
  • Intuitive color LCD user interface makes it quick and easy to adjust parameters.



  • Multi-voltage plug (MVP™) allows you to connect to 120 or 240 V power receptacles without the use of any tools - choose the plug that fits the receptacle and connect it to the power cord
  • Angled wire drive with Quick Select™ drive roll for smooth feeding and quick wire changes.
  • Smooth-Start™ for consistently smooth, spatter-free MIG starts.
  • Two shielding gas connections - so both gases can be left connected to the machine, no switching needed. One connection for MIG gas and one for TIG gas.
  • Fan-On-Demand™ power source cooling system operates only when needed, reducing noise, energy use and the amount of contaminants pulled through the machine.
  • Thermal overload protection automatically shuts the power source down if airflow through the unit is blocked or the duty cycle is exceeded.
  • Welding cart w/dual cylinder rack has eight inch rubber wheels in back and front casters for easy maneuvering. The gas cylinder rack is designed to hold two gas cylinders no larger than 7 in (178 mm) diameter, maximum combined weight 130 lb pounds (80 cubic foot capacity is ideal).
  • INCLUDED TIG Kit - gives you everything you need for remote TIG welding with the Multimatic 220 AC/DC. Includes Wireless Remote Foot Control, Weldcraft® 150-amp WP17 TIG torch with 25mm Dinse connector, AK-2 torch accessory kit, two flow regulators and gas hoses.



  • OPTIONAL Spoolmate™ 100 OR Spoolmate™ 150 direct-connect spool gun. The Spoolmate 100 is ideal for running 4043 aluminum and solid MIG wire sizes .023 to .035 diameter. The Spoolmate 150 runs both 5356 and 4043 aluminum and solid MIG wire sizes .030 to .035 diameters
