The Miller® XMT® 400 MIGRunner™ with Intellx™ Elite Wire Feeder is a complete highly advanced 400 amp MIG and pulsed-MIG welding system. The XMT 400 amp multi-process welder is capable of MIG, Stick and DC TIG welding. It operates on both three-phase and single-phase input power and features Miller's Auto-Line,™ which means you can use 208 volt to 575 volt, single or three-phase input power without manual linking. The included Intellx Elite wire feeder comes complete with full color LCD screen, soft keys and memory buttons, plus advanced features like EZ-Set MIG, EZ-Set Accu-Pulse™, EZ-Set Versa-Pulse™, expanded pre-programmed parameters for advanced MIG welding, plus two trigger receptacles - one for standard MIG guns, and one for an OPTIONAL XR-Aluma-Pro™ push-pull gun.
The XMT 400 comes standard with both legacy 14-pin and new ArcConnect™ wire feeder/remote receptacles. ArcConnect provides high speed communication between the Intellx wire feeder and XMT 400 to improve machine response and performance. ArcConnect also allows for full remote control of output amperage, voltage and weld process control, right at the Intellx wire feeder.
The XMT 400 is easy to move around the shop or jobsite. Its rugged case design ensures it will stand up to the punishment of extreme work environments. The XMT 400 can carbon arc gouge with carbons up to 5/16" diameter. It also features built-in Lift-Arc™ TIG arc starting for smooth DC TIG arc starts without the use of high frequency.
The complete MIGRunner package includes XMT 400 welder, Intellx Elite wire feeder, Bernard™ BTB 400 amp MIG gun, running gear with dual cylinder rack, flowmeter/regulator and all interconnecting cables and gas hose.
