Washington Alloy® Eagle-Arc 980X ER120S-G .030 MIG Welding Wire - 11# Spool TCEAGLE-ARC980X05
11 lb. Spool - Eagle-Arc 980X ER120S-G .030 diameter MIG Welding Wire is a high strength alloy steel commonly used for automotive repair. It is a German-made wire that is a direct replacement for Bosch DS980J and an excellent alternative to Bohler Union X96 and Titan Technology EQ-5029X96. Eagle-Arc 980X meets American Honda's ProFirst Collision Repair Facility requirements for welding on high strength steel.
Washington Alloy Eagle-Arc 980X is specifically designed for welding high strength steel joints of 590 MPA or higher. It has high levels of nickel, manganese, silicon and molybdenum for excellent welding results on critical high-stress, fine grained applications. Eagle Arc 980X has a tensile strength of 140,000 PSI (980+ MPA), uses Argon/CO2 shielding gas and conforms to AWS A5.28 ER120S-G.
Typical applications:
Automotive repair
Cranes
Ships
Mining
Concrete pressure vessel
Tempered steel
