E3® Tungsten Electrode

Pkg of 10 - Weld-Forge™ 7 inch E3 tungsten electrodes are superior to 2% Thoriated tungsten in electrode life and TIG welding arc stability.  E3 is made from a combination of 3 oxides and is not radioactive, like Thoriated tungsten. E3 runs cooler than other types of tungsten electrode and provides fast, consistent arc starts. It is capable of performing in both AC and DC welding applications.

PLEASE NOTE: 3/16" AND 1/4" DIAMETERS ARE PACKAGES OF 5, INSTEAD OF 10.

    E3 Tungsten With AC Aluminum TIG Process

    Reallyn just getting started with this, but the E3 Tungsten seems to hold its shape longer under high amperage conditions than 2% Lanthanated.
