Tillman Cut Resistant Welding Gloves - Pigskin MIG Glove 32K

Disappointed because I mainly bought these gloves because of the color in the picture. I don’t like the yellow color they actually are, as trivial as that may sound. Don’t like the yellow it leaves on my fingers when wet. They are my first pair of Tillman gloves, I usually buy black stallion and really like those.

That being said, they are nice gloves once broken in and have held up well so far at the steel shop. I like that they are cut resistant and they have good heat protection for heavy MIG welding.

I bought these for a Saturday class when I wanted to see if I'd like welding. I didn't even know what kind of welding I would be doing in that class. I used them with MIG, then stick, using a plasma cutter, the oxy torch, and then later used them for the first week or two of a TIG class. Despite logging many hours, they still have a lot of life left in them. I now just use them for MIG. They are still very comfortable and flexible, and when they wear out I'd buy this model again. I'm glad Tillman makes these and many other (though not all of their models) in size small, as well.

Seem to be pretty good gloves. I've only had them for a few weeks though. I like the feel and flexibility they have. I do wish they would be just a little bit more insulated on the back part of the hand though. When I'm mig welding and my left hand is close to the weld the heat and sparks are sometimes a little bit much for these.

I'd recommend them. Because welding gloves are so cheap I literally buy a new pair almost every time I purchase something from one of these online welding stores.
