Genuine Hobart® PRO 7 auto darkening welding helmet features 7.0 square inches of viewing area and PureColor™ PRO lens technology. Improved PureColor PRO provides a bright, natural color view of the workpiece in both light and dark states. When compared with older "green" tinted lenses, the PureColor PRO lens passes through a more accurate and a more complete color spectrum, for a better welding experience. The PRO 7 lens has three arc sensors and functions in weld, cut and grind modes. It is rated for low DC TIG welding down to 2 amps. Switching speed is an impressive 1/25,000 of a second.
The Hobart PRO 7 auto darkening welding hood operates in shade 9-13 weld mode, shade 5-9 cut mode and shade 3 grind mode. It comes complete with Hobart's 5-point PRO ergonomic ratchet headgear and weighs 18.5 ounces. The PRO 7 lens' digital controls include shade, sensitivity, delay and mode (weld, cut, grind). It also has a low battery indicator and a three-year lens warranty.
